Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is an Romanian Actress. She received the British Academy Television Award Best actress for her Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. She speaks French, German, English and Romanian fluently. Her mother is professional instrument player. The father of the family is an actor and theatre professor at one of the top Romanian drama schools. She was awarded the Best Female Actor of the Year in 2000 Award during the Young Actor Gala Mangalia. In 2008 she was named"a European Shooting Star' by the European Film Promotion Board. She spent four years as professor in the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu. bAnamaria is an Romanian Actress born 01 April 1978, Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca is a Romanian actress, who made her debut performance onscreen in Sex Traffic, a British-Canadian television film for which she received the British Academy Television Award as the Best actress. Alongside her impressive performance in her first film The actress will also be remembered for her part in the Romanian Arts Film 4 months 3 weeks, 2 days which earned her many accolades, among them the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. She starred in the Romanian film 4 luni 3 weeks si 2 days (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days) by Cristian Mungiu. It won the Palme d'Or at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and two other prizes (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System and the FIPRESCI prize). She also appeared on the Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. In 2008, she played Yasim Anwar in the BBC 5-episode miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca played the role of Oliver Hirschbiegel in Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. She then had an important role in 2014's Fury which featured her as Irma Emma's German mother of Emma.
