Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 1977. She has acted as a character in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime on March 20, 2020. The organization is a multilateral engagement core team participant and analyst in the Assassination Witness program. The GI-TOC's research activities focus on assassinations, disappearances and various forms of violence in the context of illicit economies. The research area she is interested in is the effect of organized criminality on the law, policies and legislation that pertain to the human right. Ana Paula holds an LL.M cum laude of International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She also has an LL.M. and MBA in International Relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a qualified lawyer and has worked in the law firm that focused on litigating in the public sector for more than four years. Additionally, she has held assistant roles with non-governmental organizations based within Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
